Go2 Theatre Saturday 2nd May 6.30pm

Tickets £10/£7 concessions www.go2theatre.org.uk

GO2 Theatre presents their narrated staging of this new piece. We offer a characterised reading by eight actors where the thoughts and actions of individuals entwine and separate as their experiences move off the page.

You will enjoy watching how their repressed and two-dimensional loveless lives blossom in the warm Mediterranean sun. ‘The Enchanted April’, published in 1922, was written when Elizabeth von Arnim was staying in Portofino. She intended to write a happy book. It is a light-hearted story, full of flowers and sunshine, which, due to Elizabeth’s wit and delicate irony, never descends into sentimentality. Adapted by John Deeth (creator of Shakespeare’s Will) , “That Enchanted April” is a blissful evocation of the discovery of what love is when freed from the daily grind. The main characters discover what really nice people they are, a discovery that they are able to take back home with them from the Italian sunshine.

So as the spring sunshine begins to warm the earth, come to Taurus Crafts and have your hearts warmed too. Watch this space for annoucements and additions.
