This Sunday is the return of our Easter antiques and vintage fair. It starts at 10am and is on all day until 5pm. Alongside the fair will be our regulars tempting you with street food and local beer and cider. Also ales by Bespoke and Stroud Breweries.
Easter weekend and throughout the holidays there is a choice of creative activities for children, to stretch their creative muscles, and two exhibitions to stretch the creative imagination of everyone. We are pleased to be hosting sculpture from ‘Arts in the Marches’ throughout our gardens until the end of June and a new exhibition of paintings by Tony Hopkins has just been hung in the café.
If you would like to make something creative yourself, book by April 4th for a beading workshop on April 11th with Sally Boehme - details below.
Silk Road has moved into larger premises in the courtyard and is offering a 15% discount on jewelry and wool creations - so go look. And JillyJoo has arrived in the concession space in the Gift Shop with their bespoke shabby chic furniture and accessories and handmade children’s cloths - so go find.

Antiques and Vintage Fair 10 - 5pm Free Entry 5th April 2015
Taurus Crafts welcome back the Spring Antiques and Vintage fair in conjunction with the little bazaar. With stalls of collectables, vintage, antiques and memorabilia.
This is a great day out for avid collectors, casual browsers, and families looking for an alternative Easter outing. With pottery activities for Children, 15 crafts and artisan businesses, art and sculpture exhibition, delicious food on site from our cafe and Native Breeds hot street food, local beers, Fabrice’s fabulous breads, pastries and French crepes. So come early to find the hidden treasures on display and come away with a hidden treasure or bargain buy from the Antiques Fair.
Free entry and huge free carpark.

Arts in the Marches: Sculpture 28th March - 28th June.
An exciting new sculpture exhibition at Taurus Crafts. Curated by Arts in the Marches this show features the sculptures of nine artists based in the English Welsh borderlands.
Arts in the Marches is a free entry and open daily.

Beading Workshop – Sally Boehme Saturday 11th April 10am - 4pm (incl 1hr lunch)
Sally has been beading for 25 years and teaching adults at residential colleges and other venues nationally for 6 years. She also sells her pieces and works to commission. Places are limited. Booking deadline is Sat 4 April. Please contact Sally direct to book your place or if you have any questions.
£25.00 per person (plus materials) Come along for a day of beading fun and learn how to make a beautiful sparkly bracelet using only needle and thread. Suitable for complete beginners and improvers. Cost: £25 per person plus materials (approx. cost of materials £7).

Exciting times ahead for Silk Road Bazaar: 15% discount between 3th April - 6th April
On the 16th of March Silk Road Bazaar moved into larger premises in the courtyard at Taurus Crafts. Jenny and Maria send their thanks to all their customers for supporting their business into expansion. They will be offering more of the same beautiful handicrafts and are really pleased to announce that they will now also be able to offer craft supplies, classes and workshops.
If you would be interested in knowing more about their workshops please pop by their lovely new shop in the courtyard, check out their facebook page or send an email and you will be added to their mailing list for information about workshops.
