Our pottery produces high quality hand-thrown and moulded stone ware for domestic and decorative use.
Much of the ware features Taurus’s own blue glaze. 
 

There is a strong traditional feel to the pottery which also uses cream, green, and midnight blue glazes - in our pottery shop you will find a full compliment of tableware, with lamps, bowls and jugs in a variety of sizes and styles. 

A popular activity with families and young people is “Throw your own pot”, you can also have your pot fired ready for collection later.  Taurus pottery is readily recognisable and you will find a selection in the gift shop and other Camphill centres.  It is also available through Camphill Products for customers within the UK and abroad.

A special feature within our pottery is that we are able to offer a range of workshops, as well as training and work experience.  Guest potters include Jill Fanshawe Kato, a potter whose work is admired and collected throughout the world and our artist in residence in June 2002.  Jill used our huge kiln to create a sculptural planter for Taurus, you will find the planter in the Taurus courtyard.
